Single-layer conveyor dryers are suitable for, or more commonly used for, customers with specific needs:
Large materials (wooden boards), fragile materials (molds), materials that cannot be turned over (crafts), flaky materials (meat slices), lightweight and loose foods (puffed foods), lightweight materials (chrysanthemums), fibrous materials (mulberry leaves), pasty materials (pelleted feed), and materials with surface moisture (packaging bags with surface moisture), etc.
2. Advantages:
Simple structure, segmented temperature control, continuous production, uniform drying, stable quality, and excellent preservation of material shape.
3. Disadvantages:
Not suitable for materials with high sugar content or those prone to sticking. Compared to multi-layer belt dryers, they require a larger footprint, have lower output per unit area, and lower thermal energy utilization.
